The setting was particularly good, just off restaurants, Red tower also walking along the beach and the castle peninsula inside the outer castle wall. Everybody was supper friendly and the room was en suite...

Exceptional service, we had peaceful stay.
Its location was best possible, short walk to Alanya itself unbelievably overcrowded and all the shops and restaurants. The pool was great, the staff was especially helpful and very amiable.

i booked at the last minute with no place to go. But how lucky i was to find this incredible little hotel. First it is the fantastic view of the sea and the harbour. Then it is the stillness and the silence that tsoothes you. And lets not forget the superb breakfast with filter coffee, home made jam and omelette with farm chicken eggs. It is such a great spot for refreshing. I will come back here the first time i find a chance.
There was no pool. And it is far away from the airport.

I enjoyed the peace and quiet of the hotel and the standards of comfort which it offered. The family who own/run it are lovely friendly people who did their best to ensure our stay was a happy one, but were not intrusive in any way.
As far as we are concerend the only comment we feel would be helpful is that the climb to the hotel is very steep and would not be a good location for anyone with mobility difficulties. We feel this should be included in the hotel information.

The only positive aspects I can mention are the view of the harbour, the decoration of the rooms and the freshness of the food. The employees seem to be friendly.
First of all the location is not the best because of the steep way you have to walk up every day if you don´t have a car or moped. Every night you are forced to listen to the noise of the discotheques. Breakfast was a little bit poor and monotonous: There wasn´t any butter, any ham, any cereals, any jam (maybe that liquid thing with pieces of fruits should imitate some jam, but according to its consistency it looked like stewed fruit). Once we were offered some fish soup for breakfast. Who eats soup for breakfast?!? All in all there were only fruits, some pieces of a cake (that was delicious), freid eggs, fish salad, noodles au gratin and cheese made out of sheep milk. If you want to get some information about tours, don´t ask the receptionist, do it on your own, because that´s what he will answer you. If you are planning to stay at this hotel, don´t forget to take your own towels and bed sheets with you. They wanted us to pay !!!72€!!! for towels, bed sheets, pillows etc.. The reason? They accused us of staining them because of using some mysterious sun oil which we didn´t use! We were told that it´s a rule in Turkey to pay for towels if you use them and stain them. The receptionist also told us, that it happened two times before and people accepted that and payed for it! The truth of this statement is very suspicious! When I asked him for the bill, he first tried to calm me by telling me to talk to "his company"on the phone and that they can ensure me on the phone that their towels and sheets are very expensive. I don´t know how they clean the towels etc., but if you wash them in high temperature, it should get out. If they don´t use high temperature to clean them, then be careful of getting contracted a disease. Hotel Villa Turka is a new hotel, maybe they need some time to get professional. So, if you want to stay at this hotel, take your own towels with you, don´t sleep on the sheets and don´t let yourself get cheated!

Perfect location with the best room views overlooking Alanya. Romantic castle steps lead you from the harbour right up to the hotel doorstep. Five star presentation throughout the hotel and home made jams in the morning. Very good value for money.
Poor access by car along the steep cobbled castle roads - but worth it for the location.
